so, my 6100 runs hot, as they all do, and i'd like to install a fan to throw air at the deflection board and hv pcbs. mounting is no problem, got that figured out.

per threads on here, searching, 120v is recommended. however, i have read that supposedly there's a spot on the brick where you can tap into it for a fan, but no one says where that is.

so, can someone tell me where to tap in to the xformer brick for the 120v?

Cleverly...

You do have a multimeter, no? Check to determine which circuit is outputting 120v.

yeah. i was just reading in other threads that supposedly there is a circuit off the brick for a fan in tempest, and i was trying to figure out where that was before i started probing...

My SW power brick has 2 molex connectors (center side-to-side, near the back of the cabinet), one to the marquee light, the other to a fan pointing to the PCBs.

Some other Atari bricks I've seen only have 1 of these connectors.

if you don't have an empty connector, just create a Y wire to tap into the same connector as the marquee is plugged into. I did this on my SW to add a 2nd fan.

yeah. looking at the wiring diagram for the ct and uprights, p4 supplies the fan in the cocktail and the lamp in the upright, so i'm donna tap into that.
