next is the Space Invaders. Fun story, one of the smaller boards around the hole broke as I was wheeling the cab inside, almost launched me down the hole!

You are a god. Really nicely done. How were you able to keep the cabinet level?

Thanks lol! My dad stayed on the ground and kept each cab steady as I hauled em up. Whatever that pulley thing was called it really was a lifesaver

Finally the Playchoice Dual Screen. This one was a bit of a hassle since it was taller than the pulley itself, had to lift it up at the very end.

Bonus picture of the pulley thing included

Hey that's a cool idea. Now what's the second floor look like?

Nowhere near presentable yet, literally half done but I couldn't leave the cabs all over the place. Had to go to work after I hauled these up so I didn't have the time to set these guys up, thats tomorrow's challenge. When its done I'll post pics of the completed half lol

It is amazing what we do to get these games in our homes! Mine resulted in the birth of my garcade!

Its a chain hoist.
Now that's dedication! Does the I-beam stay up all the time or can it "go away"?
cool

Time to retire that flag and replace it with a new one!
Cool pics, Now to figure out how to do something like this for my basement.

Gah that was the name! It was bugging me for the longest time. The whole thing is a collapsible, 5 piece set so its pretty easy to store.

And yea bout time to get a new flag. Been dragging my feet for the longest time. And ezpz way to get games into a basement: find the room above the basement, get a chain hoist and cut a hole in the floor. Most problems can easily be solved with holes :D

I was concerned you would bring the whole deck down, but then I saw the metal support underneath. Was there a hot tub or something up there at one time?

Harbor Freight has a 2 ton overhead hoist like that. I keep telling my wife I am going to buy it and mount it half over the living room and half into the gameroom so I can just winch them up and down. So far she isn't going for it.....:(
