Yes, i'm the seller, I thought it right to speak up here, I asked for pictures of all of this damage of not one, but 2 items, and I have to see pictures, finally, here on the group, rather than e-mailed to me directly, and incidentally, I don't see any damage.
And in 25 years of collecting games, I've NEVER called a power brick or transformer assembly a "suitcase" - that is just dumb. It's a power transformer assembly, not a fucking suitcase. I must have not kept up with new lingo on 30 year old game parts. I still say that message about a damaged 'suitcase' was for some other supposedly 'damaged item' this buyer got, or some cut and paste often used complaint message, I don't know. I sent him the insured slip so he could take it up with the post office, but I was told they didn't understand it or some shenanigans. Maybe they don't believe him either, I don't know.
I'm going to give this guy a partial refund, take my loss on it, and move on. I was trying to do the right thing, help the hobby, get people parts they need, and still, I am getting hosed by it.
So whatever, I'm done with it. I packed it right, along with his other shipment, and with the hundreds of other things I pack and ship every month, I get no complaints or claims, yet I get 2 from this guy in a matter of a month, so you make your own judgments on that angle.
I'm done with it and him. Move on.
New poll - who here calls a Midway power transformer assembly a "suitcase"??? Fucking dumb dumb dumb.
Even if you didn't out him you shouldn't ask for people's opinions without posting pictures of ALL the packing material. The seller claims there was additional packing material/bubble wrap/void fill. Is the seller lying or did you just omit all the other stuff before taking pictures? The seller also claims this is your second item purchased that arrived broken. Was the first item received with poor packaging as well?
