Can i drill the lock off of a jukebox or do i have to pick them to open? What do i have to watch out for if i drill them?
Got 2 jukeboxes from the auction they work but no keys.

NO! Don't drill it. You can order new keys for them. If you drill them out you will have a heck of a time because the cams are hard to come by. Ken Layton knows all there is to know about Jukes, pm him, he is the man. Might help if you post the make, model, etc...

Funny I'm on the same boat, I picked up one of those NSM cd juke from the auction as well and of course no key.
I was just going to drill it out and put in a Happ lock instead...
I guess that may be a bad idea?

Got my key from needles4jukeboxes.com. Fast service and the key worked like a charm! Now if only I could find one for the coin box...

If your in a hurry: B.F.H.

Jukeboxworld can send you a precut key for an NSM if you can read them tiny little numbers on the lock.

Cashbox/coinbox locks are always keyed different than the rest of the jukebox for security reasons. How about a picture of the face of the lock presently installed on your jukebox?

I finally got into the Rock-Ola Model C-X 's (Rock!). Once I figured out how the mechanism worked I was able to simply slide an Allen wrench in the side of the door and lift the latch. Unbelievably simple design for being built in the 90's. I can't imagine how much money could have been stolen from these models in seconds from the bill stacker being right there.
