Decided to pull a side to replace it with new. No Bondo will be in this cab :)

Like an atomical cut away of the human body.... :)

Stick with me on this one... Will send the after picts.... Figured this is better than patching water swollen sides.

Yeah I had to do something similar same to a missile command a few years ago and a spy hunter front, just take your time and don't rush it
And it will be good to go

Thanks buddy, been super busy with life...not having much time for the forum recently. Your project is looking good, cannot wait to see the final results.

Looks very good. In fact...

I've been wondering for a couple months what to do about my Sinistar with one bad side. The wood near the control panel has a warp, creating a gap which really bugs me. This thread has me seriously thinking about saying to hell with it and just making a whole new side (the art was painted over long ago so it needs to be re-stenciled anyway).

How did you get the side off with out damaging any other wood? Aren't they glued on, etc. ?
Ya they used very little glue and my cab had used real wood in the cab. So being careful and using a dead blow hammer and a narrow pry bar or popped off easily without any damage

Ya once partical board starts to swell it's hard to sand as it tends to fall apart... I figured this was the best option.
