How to find missing parts on big gumball machine

A local thrift store one of those gumball machines that are like 4 or 5 feet tall. But its the roller coaster kind. You just put in the quarter, turn, and it comes out right below where you turn it. However it looks like its missing the coin mechs and everything. Looks like it came from an Old Navy store.

They are asking $30 for it. Wondering if its worth it, and if so, how do I go about figuring out what parts are needed.
 
Check the mfg label and see if they are still around. I've had luck with some a couple of them.. The parts can be pretty pricey tho (if they are not the generic bits... the coin mechanisms are usually pretty generic)
