My Star Wars upright is pulling way too much to the right, but I can't seem to find out how to calibrate the steering, and what values should be there for the input test.

If you know these details, I would love to know.

i had a similar issue with my paperboy...i think they are similar? to fix it i simply centered the pot, centered the yoke, then put the small gear on and tightened it down. when i put it on initially, it was off to one side when the yoke was centered.

That's a real pain, but I guess a MUST DO.

When you go into test mode, there seems to be some calibration numbers, does anyone know what those numbers should be at center?

As it sits, the crosshairs for the x-wing fighter pull way to the left.....ughhhhh

star wars is self calibrating. You calibrate it by moving the yoke into all 4 corners after its been powered up.

That said, you can "influence" the settings a bit. power the game down for a bit. Power it back up and put it into test mode. drop the control panel and center the yoke the best you can and then unscrew the nuts holding the pots to their brackets. Move the gear on the end of the pot away from the gear on the controllers. Rotate the gear on the pot shaft until your happy with its position based on the control input on the screen. Put the pot back so that the gears are meshed and tighten the nut.

I tried all that, apparently it's not very self calibrating :)

I ended up having to adjust the larger lower pot in test mode, and got her bang on center. Wasn't too bad afterall.

One down, a bazillion more to go.
