How sloppy is too sloppy for a DK stick

Finally installed the new parts from Milke's Arcade (mikesarcade.com) and the JS now is not sloppy. The joystick spring stopper made the most difference - there was not one installed previously. I installed it and a new spring. Difference is amazing.
