Our SMC-1 has been used almost daily since it came home in the Winter of 2008. It was bought for my wife who really enjoys it, but the one who enjoys it the most is our daughter. It's been a blast to see her not only request songs, but also to learn so many classic hits! She hears songs now that have been redone and immediately recognizes them bc they are in the juke.. :)

Anyone else use their juke pretty regularly?

For sure on a daily basis!

Mine lives in here, our Japanese tea-house at the bottom of the garden I built over 20 years ago, but as you will see because we've recently had some very untypical weather in the Manchester area of the UK, this week it isn't getting used at all..

It's in there as I reached a compromise with my wife when I bought it at the beginning of last year. I agreed that it would be a bit too much for it to join my electric piano and my alto and tenor saxophones in one of our two reception rooms, in our fairly small house.

But I usually turn it over a couple of times each week in the cold weather as long as it isn't freezing.
Mine mainly gets used several times a week during the summer months when I'm doing a bit of gardening, it's far enough away from other houses not to annoy the neighbours.

Actually, I've just bought another so I've now got two in there ...and a TV..and a fridge/freezer.

Here it is earlier in the year.

I play my CD-100 when I have free time... Housework, Video Games, Cooking etc.

But I rarely take the time to punch selections.

I have the autoplay set to 0 seconds.

So it just runs through some predetermined list of like 200 selections. (Nearly one track from each even CD, then One from each of the odds, then a different one from evens, and different than odds).

The playlist was set by the previous owner (or it might be the default). I have changed about half the CD's, but it works out ok.

The one in the gameroom I was using everyday while I was working out there getting the insulation and drywall up, but then it got too cold to keep working out there...
The one in the house is on every weekend.

I use my machine anytime we are in "The Mancave". Estimate is about 6 to 10 hours per week depending upon time spent playing the games and/or poker.

It's Rock-Ola 450 160 selection. The rack next to is my 45 collection which has since been grouped and sorted by artist. I plan on sorting the dups soon and then possilby putting some out for swap.

I'd say my Rockola 470 get's used at least once a week, more if the wife is gone. She hates loud music. And loud noises. And happiness of any kind.

Well do you have songs in there that SHE likes?? Or do you just have dupes of all Village People stuff?
