How often do you actually USE your arcade?

everything but my bedroom is my arcade i turned a game on for the first time in over 4 months tonight couldnt get the controls to work right so not very often anymore

I had a run of a few weeks where I didn't turn a game on but usually I play at least one or two games a week. For the past two weeks I've been playing, The End, Pepper II and frogger every night.

ok so i got my pacman working besides a screen roll (damn iso on vision pros arg) so i played for about 3 hours tonight will most likely be a trend for a few weeks :)

I play Stargate everyday. Battlezone gets played a few times a month. Anything new in the arcade gets played alot. If I start working on projects, playing time goes way down.
Seems like almost every time I try to play Battelzone, I discover another problem!

I play a couple of games of pinball (currently Old Chicago) daily. The other pins I play a few times a week and I play some of the vids a couple times a week unless I set a certain goal for myself like high score or achieving the next level.

I do some repair work daily as well, though I do this in the garage, not in the arcade.

I have been going through withdrawal since coming to VA on Monday. I have found most local arcades but I really miss playing my own games. My tools are supposed to arrive on Monday so I can get back to working on things then...

Mine are scattered around on the main level of my house, so I fire them up pretty regularly. Not all of them at once, I have them "banked" so I can flip them on in banks or when I can reach the switches (damm designers that put switches in inconvenient spots :(), one at a time.

My arcade is a small building in the back yard which is also my radio/computer/hobby/tool shack so I am there almost every night after the kids do to bed. In the summer and on weekends if the kids are outside, the games are usually on so they can pop in and play. I just fixed up a freebie 27 in' TV, now that is also in there for console games when we don't want the teenagers hanging around in the house. If I am working on an arcade project I try to leave the working games off so I actually get some work done. My mame cab comes on with the lights so it is almost always on and if I am not playing it, it is playing various attract vids. The attract vids are a great way to find interesting games to play.

kinda random. sometimes i go a week or so without playing, and sometimes i'll play every couple days. i tend to play donkey kong the most right now, followed by satan's hollow and mario bros. but when i do play, i usually play for an hour or two, and rotate from game to game as i lose lives...

I honestly play something every day. I usually have a game or two in the shop as well, so if I am working on something out there in my free time, I can take a break and play.

As far as turning on all (20) the games in the barcade, thats usually only when multiple friends are over. Still that probably happens at least every 2 weeks. If its one buddy, they usually just want to play a specific game or two, so I will turn on the games we are playing.

I have the same kind of setup in my backyard too. I don't have a mame machine, but I do love listening to the attract screens of my dedicates even if I'm not playing. One of these days I'm going to have finally cave and try out mame
