whats the going rate for an original MK4 machine? I got a line on one but i don't want to overpay. I personally don't like the game that much but the machine in my opinion is much nicer than a mk3 cabinet...
thoughts?

What kind of condition is it in??? Ive seen them go from $400-$700 in good cosmetic and working condition, but Im not sure if that's their typical street value.

I saw a MK4 sit locally here on craigslist then ebay all the way down to selling at $300! The most I would pay for one mint would be $500 IMO. MK4 cabs just don't seem to catch a lot of attention and you may have problems if you ever decide to sell it.

Then again, I just saw a MK4 PCB and Marquee sell for $299 from a seller in Canada.. so you never know. The seller was an arcade dealer so maybe that's why the buyer dropped that much money..

I know you don't like the dedicated MK3 cab, but it's the hardest one to find and I'd pay the most for one of those or a nice original MK2.

Here's my collection btw:

I paid $650.00 for mine and feel like I overpaid. It was in excellent shape, just the sidebox art on the CP has a scrath or two, side art is more then solid. I felt like I overpaid because after loading it on the truck, and handing over the money the seller said "oh if it stays on for an hour or so the screen starts to fade". So $100.00 later (new flyback and cap kit) it cost me $750.00.

I am not a fan of MK4 but I do like the cab more then UMK3, and it houses my Multi-MK.

I bought MK4 for $500 and ended up selling it for $400. It's hard to get more than $400 around here for any game it seems. Looking back I should have kept it. I still have a MK PCB that I was switching in and out of the cab. I kept it in hope that another cab come's around at a great price.
