how much would i pay for a non working pole position?

I couldn't give my non-working PP cab away for $25.00. Seriously. I tried for over a month. Finally one day I got bored with looking at it sit in the corner and put about an hour work in to her... low and behold... I GOT IT TO WORK!

Now I wouldn't sell it for less than $500.00... which means she's a keeper.

:)

I think it looks clean bro! just the CPO is grimey. otherwise looks straight. hope you can get it working! -by the way, Nicky, here are a couple pics for you. my 1983 Vector Mark2 that i finally built (frame was a raw NOS). Had it black powdered with the forks and Vector bars! Also, you'll notice the 1984 GHP Pro Long in th ebackground of the second pic. Try and find one of those -I dare you! HAHAHAHA. Sweet PP bro!

Thats a vector game I havent heard about yet. Hmm......

A little bit more pricey too! Arcade stuff is a pleasant change in price ranges from that bike stuff. UGH, that shit is expensive! I love this arcade stuff. I traded a bike for my first and second game. Now about 4 weeks later, I have 6 games. Selling my dining room furniture and turning it into an arcade! I should put an ad in the for sale/trade section for that!

here it is..... submitted for your approval the 100.00 pole positition! just in case you missed it- http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=130474

Thumbs up man... looks like a nice buy.
Be sure to make a cardboard fan shroud to pull air through the board cage.

I wonder what the deal is on the harness connections?
Yours looks like the wiring harness goes right to the main boards.
Someone know if they changed the design on this? or is it a mod?

Compare it to mine where the harness plugs into a common board first...

Great idea!!!! Dining room furniture is highly over rated anyway! I'd much rather have an arcade. Sweet bike and awesome job on Kerri's supergoose!!!!

That board is not really needed... Mine doesn't have it.

My guess is that the edge connectors seem to be the villains in many cases with burnt connectors.
I'm wondering if this is a mod to eliminate 2 of them.

The board is called a "shield PCB" in the manual, so I guess as long as you don't start seeing ghosts of pole position drifting across your TV screen in the living room... maybe no need for it.

Man, this is a lot better than my Pole Position which has `no Atari logo on the steering wheel... and "TERESA" carved into the side art... which I paid 600 dollars for... well, somebody else paid 600 FOR me for... long story. Anyway, EXTREMELY nice score, and good luck getting it up to 100%!

Nice.

Mine was similar......except it was full of rat shit and the wiring harness was chewed beyond repair.

Hence, Pole Position MAME. Coming Summer 2010.

looking forward to getting it up and running. turned it on tonight, marquee works, monitor comes on, fan runs, just no power to the boards(waiting for those fuses) thanks for the input. keep em coming!
