You have that backwards. Seal the backglass first with Krylon Triple Thick then do your color touch up.Back glass can be touched up and then you use a clear coat to seal it so it stops flaking... I say have fun with it and if its too much to fix it..part it out...lol
Go to this site.the back glass doesn't bother me that much its the play field that am more worried about. what kind of paint should i use to touch up and after that what should i put on it to seal it.. then after that is it going to be ok to wax it?
i wasn't worried about the glass as i already have some. (just need to cut to fit). for me to be happy with it i need to get the playfields light covers replaced and or level with the play field agian and get the kick out to the plunger working and new rubbers...... other than the flakeing paint and stuff thats all i can tell it needs so to me... i don't think it will be a money pit, as i don't need perfection just for me and my family to mess with. and if all else fails.. take it apart..
Let's not get into this crap again with the plate vs. tempered.Don't use regular pane glass, it will break if the ball bounces off it! You must use tempered glass and I would imagine if you post here in the WTB section I'm sure you could find a used one pretty cheap.
