got an email back this is what they said

"It needs the top glass which was broke in transit- (NOT THE FACE) it is there and good you can see in the picture. It works, but has not been played in a long time so it needs a tune up because some of the connectors are not working right. Probably just needs cleaned."

what would be a good price to pick this up at?just from what you can see in the pics and what they told me in the email

Thanks

If you can start it up and play it when you get there? Maybe $250 if you really want it. I personally wouldn't pay more than $100 for an EM that's been "sitting for a while" and has no playfield glass to keep crap from falling on the playfield and seeping down into the relays, but that's just me. If it won't start and play, $100 tops, maybe less...

The generic parts are easy to find (flipper parts, bulbs, post, etc). Plastics and the backglass would be the harder to find parts. This is not a desirable EM (collectible) game so you should be able to get it for $100-$200. I would not pay over $250 unless it has a nice playfield, non-broken plastics and a nice backglass. May be worth $400-$600 once it is working.

Eletro mechanical. 150.00 is the price I would pay and keep in mind these machines can be a real pain in the rear to fix especially if your new to hobby.parts can be found sometimes here and there.

so he said he would like to get $250 out of it. and i said that from talking witha few people all i could do was $150 and haven't herd back from him.....

Probably best that way :) Seriously that could be a basket case although I would buy something like that for $100 provided that it is complete minus the playfield glass.

trick is to get in the door so you can really look at it
you dont want to get blown off real easy as that might be a diamond in the rough = fun game, easy fix

the backglass alone could be worth a hundred

then you can whip out the 75 and offer him that after you get a good look at it and point out all the flaws

but if theres playfield wear, its not worth much. if it was given to you would it be worth it ?

so many times i go and look at a game and the owner realizes after im gone that what i offered was fair and someone else gets the deal

well i got a random Email from the person said they need it out of there garage will you give me $100 for it...

I don't know shit about pins, but would guess it was worth at least a Benjamin...

i got to looking and found the latch...gotta find Glass, some play field light covers. gotta figure out why the ball kicker outer to the plunger isn't working. and how to "repair" the playfield... it looks like its dry.... the paint is kinda flakey looking...i wiped it down with a litely damp cloth and it looks better now that the dust is off of it... and it needs some new rubbers..

Bought the 4 player version of that game (Gold Record) for $60. It stopped working and I sold it for $150. All within the past year. I had repainted and clearcoated the playfield, which accounts for the jump in price. I think in average condition it's probably a $100-$200 game. It's actually an OK game, just not very desirable for collectors. Most CC aren't.

some machines i run across, i wonder if they gave it to me, would it be worth it ?

that looks like one of those

try and see if they will pay you 50 to take it away

:)
