I'm expecting a game delivered to me today from Seattle through a shipping service via uship.com. It's just one guy and his colleague taking turns driving down I-5 on their way to LA.

I'm debating how much to tip the guys for a job well done assuming the game arrives here safely. Normally, I've tipped $20 per person and provided drinks and snacks when we've moved our entire home locally.

Is it the same treatment for just one game?

Well, I've only used NAVL, but I've never thought of tipping a driver who is already getting paid to deliver it. Still, $20 for each guy would probably be okay. I've gotten that before when delivering a game, but never expect it as I also get paid for doing it...

On seeing someone here suggest it, I used a star note $20 to convince the NAVL driver delivering my first game to bring the machine all the way into the house and to the spot where it was going. There was talk of "well insurance doesn't let me take it up this 4 inch step and into the house" until the 20 came out to reassure him I wasn't going to sue if the carpet got messed up. If it's a small shipping company, it arrives as it left the seller and they'll bring it in and get it into place, enough for them to have a really nice lunch could definitely be in order if it's worth it to you.

I had a guy drop off 2 games to me. He was a tech. for an op. located about 35 mins. from me. The guy was nice, careful, and showed me a bunch of stuff about the games before he left. Also brought the games into my house (with my help) and we set them up. I threw him a 20 because I felt he went above the minimum of just dropping off the games in my garage and taking off.

I would say if the guy(s) are helpful, courteous, and careful with your games....a tip isn't a bad idea.

the guys who moved house for me a few years back moved all my games at the time (around 30 or so) out of the basement and carefully blanket wrapped everything , not even so much as a nick and no complaints carrying them up a flight of stairs , I gave each guy 50 bucks and bought the 2 a flat of beer after all said and done

I had an Area 51 shipped from New Jersey by NAVL and the guys brought the game into the house right where I wanted it.
They even unwrapped the game for me.
They arrived before me and patiently waited so I thought they deserved the extra money,so I gave them each a 20 spot.
