found a broken one on ebay and is currently at $50, says its broken and comes up witha blank screen, if i got some one to repair it would i most likely be making a profit or would i most likely loss money in repairs "Used Tested & Not Working Neo Geo 6 Slot MVS System. It has no burned or damaged areas. We tested it in a Neo Geo & it comes up with a blank screen. Please email me with any questions. "

I don't know much about this but I have read that 6 slots are pretty much notorious for having bad capacitors. My guess is that it would be $50-$100 to repair and the board might be worth about $300(just a guess).

I paid .99 plus $20 shipping for a 4 slot untested PCB on eBay back in may of this year. 1/2 of the board worked but that was all I needed to fix my other 4 slot PCB. I wouldn't pay $50 for a broken PCB if one of the custom chips is bad on the board the only way to fix it is to take it from another PCB. Or you would have to send it out and get it fixed and blow another $100 for the repair.

I charge between 40 to 45 plus shipping depending on the repair... and you have to ship the board to me.

Balance that against a 4 slot board I'd sell refurbed for $110 plus some shipping.

Almost two years ago I had no problem selling one for $125 plus shipping.

The one I had, however, worked but needed an audio cap kit (very faint audio, but still present)

The problem with "blank screen" is that it could be battery damage... I've had a couple come across the bench that were too far gone to save.
