how many times have u seen games out for trash?

I was hauling a load of trash to the DC transfer station just before I moved away in 2002. I looked up while unloading, and wouldn't you know it, a guy in the truck right in front of me was pushing a nice looking Super Cobra right out the back. There was no way I could take the cabinet (no space, since I was moving), but I stripped that mother right there in the dump :). Boardset worked great, too!

Not necessarily out for the trash, but I saw a recently (at the time) smashed up centipede on the side of the I 70. It was on a 25mph circular onramp with absolutley no place to stop, and under the overpass on the non road side of the divider. Now that Im trying to convert a 'pede back from jamma, im kicking myself for not trying harder to stop!

We found a Dig Dug sitting in back of a dentist office. Had some water damage and needed a new flyback but in otherwise perfect condition. The dentist said the screen was wavy and he didn't know how to fix it so he bought a new one and that one was trash.

Yeah, I found a Dig Dug converted to Tri Sports on the sidewalk one night...Fortunately I always drive my station wagon, and I had a buddy, so we laid the machine down on it's side, threw it in the car, and drove it home.

Before I started collecting I saw a Phoenix. Had no way to get it home, even tried to put it in the trunk of my Hyundai.

Next time I would either gut it right there or run home and get the hand truck and wheel it 6 blocks home! :D

I saw a cocktail table of an older game that had two joysticks on each side (like tank) out by the road here in Kettering not even a mile from my house. But it was covered in snow/rain by the time I saw it and someone had already gutted it.

The Double Dragon 2 cab went onto the roof of my Elantra. Only had to transport it about 3 blocks in a residential area.

Held onto it through the window.

I was on my way to work when I saw it and it was starting to rain so I knew if I didn't snag it up it would have been a lost cause in the morning. Didn't have time to do anything but put it up on the roof.

I got a Space Invaders Deluxe out of the trash at an apartment... a co-worker who knew I liked games saw it on his way to work, so I rushed over there (~5 mins from work) and stripped all the good stuff out of it (so nobody would take the game), then went back for the rest of the cab later when I could get my hauling vehicle.
