How Many Projects Are You Working On Presently ??

Hmm lets see for the ones in the garage...

Full Joust restoration into a multiwilliams - At bat
Star wars - needs monitor work/minor restoration - on deck
Omega race - board repair - in the lineup
Dk - needs full restoration then a MultiDK jamma - in the lineup

Basically every game in the arcade I have plans for.. but these are
the next 6-8 months.

Amplifone HV PCB repro
25" TV to Vector monitor Project
Space Fever PCB to JAMMA Convert
Star Wars C/Pit resto, and fit ESB Kit
Repair ESB PCB
Battlezone Resto
Quantum Cab from Scratch, with ZVG Option
Fit Lunar Lander Sideart

That will do - too many to list after these are done

For Me:

For a Friend (in the business):

Machine Bride of Pinbot - Face detection issue

Sometimes this hobby feels too much like work.

A little tip for this one: there is only one microswitch on the head assembly, and it is only "closed" when the head is in the "home" position. If the switch is good, but it seem to have trouble and doesn't seem to work properly, you have the power wiring connector to the head motor reversed. For some reason, they didn't key the connector, so if you have it plugged in "backwards" the head rotates in the opposite direction and the game board has issues getting the head in the right position. Also, the gearbox that attaches to the motor and drives the head assembly is prone to gear failure. If that is your problem, then you may be in a world of hurt trying to find a new one...

Oh, and for me... Currently in he garage in various states of refurbishment:

Outrun 2: Special Stages twin
Ferrari F355 twins
Neo Geo 4 slot
Daytona USA 2 single with board set to convert to Sega Rally 2
Namco "Quick and Crash" mechanical light gun target game.

All are in working condition, but are getting refurbishment and TLC before moving into the game room. Hopefully, this will be within a REASONABLE time frame. Just as soon as I can get that big billiards table out of the arcade...

The monitor on my Major Havoc (Tempest conversion) needs a little TLC. At least, I think it's the monitor. Same with my Sea Wolf.

My only other "project," is trying to land that next game...

Added one to the list. Picked up a Warp Warp last weekend in Kingsport at the auction.
Put new leg levelers on, cleaned everything, and repainted all of the blue on the cabinet.
Should be ready to move into the arcade by Monday.

Aztec pin -- Still need to figure out what I did wrong on this and pick up some a few coils. At least all the bumpers are the same style now. At some point I should replace the sunken PF inserts. Player mech still not resetting correctly

P-47 (JAMMA cab) -- Since this is a conversion I won't be converting back (Two Tigers), there's not much to do. "Fixed" the water damage on the front that caused the levelers to break through the bottom. Coin door rebuilt and touched up, but I would like to print off some custom coin door inserts. If I get bored (ha!) I may switch the MCR power supply for a generic switching power supply to save space/weight. Also wouldn't mind putting on a new CPO, just haven't found a generic one that I like (or a replacement "Jaleco" conversion cpo).

Polybius II (working title, MAME) -- Replacing the bottom 8 inches of pboard on this thing. Found an over-under coin door in great shape and a working VGA monitor. Ultimately I want to get the body work and painting done before winter so I can get this cab out of the garage and into the basement.

Sampo 19" color monitor -- This came with the empty cab, and it doesn't work. There's no burn-in on the tube, so I hate to just junk it. For now it will sit, but eventually I'd like to make it work or find a home for it.

Also want to make the basement a little more arcade-y.

Qbert - garbage on screen, need to diag.
Star Castle - dead, need to diag.
Pengo - coin up and thank for playing screen pops up when player one or two pressed.
Tacscan - many issues
Tapper - cpo, ac power line repair, metal return
Frogger - monitor repair
Centipede - monitor repair
Star Gate - stencil art, reassemble
Pole Position - cabinet swap, game board repair
Star Trek Cockpit - diag, cab cleaning
Crystal Castles - marquee, speaker and cpo art
Red Baron - board repair
Mach 3 - clean up and locate ld player
Black Widow - board repair
Major Havoc - board repair
Zoo Keeper - diag power loss
Liberator - board repair

I am probably missing a few things but I am in project hell at the moment. :)

Bud tapper, BTTF pinball, airborne pinball, Mario bros wide body, paperboy, tekken 2 mame.

I was just wondering if I am the only one that works on multiple projects at one time?
My thing is if I am going to paint one cabinet I may pull in another cabinet that needs painting also (as long as it is the same color).
Or if I am waiting for a part for one I will start on another.
Presently I have eight machines in the shop that I am jumping back and forth from.

They are; Armor Attack: Cabinet repair, control panel rebuild, power supply redo.
Galaxian: Monitor rework, t mold, repaint the black part of the cabinet, redo the
control panel.
Berzerk: Just painted the back door to complete a total restoration.
Spy Hunter: Completed a total restoration but waiting on a remake of the cpo.
(Even had all the steering yoke parts powder coated).
Missile Command: Finishing touches on side art to complete a total restoration.
Sea Wolf: Just completed last coat of paint on newly constructed step
and having boards reworked.
Astro Blaster: Doing cabinet repair to ready for installation of wood grain
laminate, reworking control panel, rebuilding monitor, (to start).
Baby Pac: Had to replace top of cabinet and install new t mold, need to clean
play field.

I think this is the most that I have worked on at one time......Fun,Fun.......

Finished up Warp Warp and got back on Armor Attack. The new long leaf style buttons came in this week so I could finish the control panel. Now need to order the black textured vinyl for the front of the machine........

Space invader. I need to get the locks rekeyed. Need to buy a recap kit for it.
And Of course I need to find a place to squeeze it in. Laughs.

Got a new Galaga Mother board project and I am building a board tester for it.

The joystick on the Ms pac man machine is a little off so I going to rebuilt it.

I have:

White Water pinball - complete incoming restoration. New playfield, decals, ramps, etc.
Punch-Out!! - All done with the cab, need to install free play ROMs and it's done
APB - Just need to replace the power supply, put on new side art
Two Candy Cabs - One going to be vertical JAMMA cab, other horizontal. Both need new JAMMA harnesses and cap kits
