How many people have a Pac/Ms.Pac in their collection...

I have a Ms. Pac and used to own a Super Pac Man (the game blows).

However, the most played of all my games is the Jurassic Park Lost World. Casual players and kids absolutely love that game.

Never bought one. My wife likes to play Ms Pac the rare times we see one in the wild (Last time was in 2006 in Buckhannon, WV Eagles Club) but she didn't care that I never had one. I was never a fan of the Pac games. I have a Multi at my bar I'm assembling so we'll see how that goes. The game I get most asked about if I have is Golden Tee.

i started with a pac, sold it, got a ms pac 7 years later, and traded that for a pac about two years ago. for me, it's to shut myself up, in a way. i don't play it a ton, but i love the game, and it was my first, and for those reasons, i feel my collection would never be complete without one.

Pac Man was THE game that got me in to collecting. I had to have one. It was the 4th game I got back around 1995 I believe. I ended up giving it away a year or so later to a friend. The replay value as an adult? SOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointing. I rarely play either on my 48 in 1. Other people do enough though. Great game for the casual non-collector.

I have a Ms. Pac upright. Ms. Pac on a multicade would not be acceptable to any of my friends. If it was still in a Ms. Pac cab it might be ok though.
I'm finding this to be the case as well... I have the 48-1 in a generic cocktail cab, and I don't think anyone really "gets" it.
I'm not sure if they just get confused by the menu options on the multicade, or if it's something where if they don't recognize the cabinet, they don't give it a chance... Or if I just have stupid friends :D
Seems to work the same way with the Jrok board too... if I have it set to a game, people will walk up and play it, no problem, but if it's on the menu screen, they seem to ignore it.
I'm wondering if the same thing would happen with say a dedicated Ms.Pac with a 96-1 board in it...

I'm trying to finalize the game room lineup, and I'm on the fence about adding a Pac/Ms.Pac... You know the story, lots of "wants" but limited space...

I have a deticated pacman and a ms pacman cocktail for the wife so that she has a spot for her beer's. I also have a 60 and 1 cab with both games just in case the other one's being played.

When ever I get into the conversation that I have arcade games or have someone over. First thing's I hear are:

Do you have Donkey kong?
Do you have Super Mario bros?
Do you have Centipede?

Ohh! You have Ms. Pac-Man! (See Pac-man)

Was Galaga based off this game? It's fun as hell! (Gyruss)
I want to cut my ears out! (pengo)
Are you using those for parts. (see's projects)

"OMFG FREAKIn Star Wars! This game got all my Quarters!"

For the count, I got a kinda both, A Ms. Pac board set inside a Pac-Man cab.

I have the Pac-Man collection for Colecovision if any guests need to play it.

That's good enough for any one that needs to have their Pac fix.

Wife loves the Ms Pac. :)

I sometimes have conversations like this:

Him: "Oh I remember this one old game! It was one where you flew around on birds and like knocked other guys off and stuff."

Me: "Oh that's Joust."

Him: "No, that's not it. It was the one where you had to pick up eggs from ledges and if you took too long they'd hatch into birds and you had to kill 'em again"

Me: "... That's Joust."

Him: "Noo..."

Me: "Did you have to fight pterodactyls?"

Him: "Yeah yeah!!!"

Me: "... ... Robotron???"

Him: "YEAH that's it!!!!"
LOL! That is great!

...just to shut people up?

It always seems that the first question that inevitably comes up anytime someone finds out you have a gameroom... "Do you have Pac Man?"

Side Question: is having Pac/Ms.Pac on one of those multiboards enough to keep your guests happy, or do they have that look of disappointment that you don't have a dedicated cabinet.

(Sorry, slow day around here, and I'm bored out of my skull :D)
I have a Ms. Pac-Man mini with a 24-in-1, plus a 60-in-1 in another cabinet. Therefore, folks can play Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man as they please!

People ask me for Galaga (sometimes they mean Galaxian), Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. I have all of them.

I have two

Both are original Ms Pacman Stencil cabs but one is in despirate need of a repaint as i've sanded most of it down. One has the original harness and PS. The second is converted to JAMMA and both run ArcadeShop multi boards.

Ms. Pac cabaret was my third game after Asteriods and Dig Dug. I got a call from a friend whose friend was getting divorced and needed to sell everything. Wasn't looking for it ... it found me!

Lots of people like Pac, obviously. It reminds me of an auction in Columbus where this 40'ish lady saw a Pac Man and freaked out. "Oh my GOOOOSSSHHH, I HAVE TO HAVE THIS" she blurts out to everyone in the area. When the bidding started, she lifted her hand, then again, then again. After a little bit, the auctioneer had to say "Maam, you have the high bid, you don't need to bid against yourself". He did that a couple times. I don't remember the final price but she pad a lot for that game.

I've got a Pac-man with a Spaeth six pac in it. It is one of the most played games when I have people over
