How many of you have a Jukebox in your Arcade?

My basement gameroom is not overly big, so I need to think creatively...

I wanted a juke, but instead just picked up a Seeburg D.E.C. wall mount for $40 and I going to convert it to use/play my Ipod.

I'm currently trying to find a nice-looking, but non-working, 70's style juke for conversion to a touchscreen jukebox that plays mp3's from a hard drive and PC setup installed inside.

Something like this:

If you wanna play MP3's just get a nice stereo .

Getting a stereo just doesn't feel the same as having a Jukebox. As much as I love the ones that play the old 45's, they just dont make 45's anymore so I can't get newer music. I could go with a CD one but I would rather just go the route of a MP3 type so this way I have all the music I want to listen to on it, and not a whole CD with only a few songs that I like. Plus an actually Jukebox looks way cooler than a MP3 player or Stereo.

Everyone's pics of their Jukeboxes look sweet btw.

Mp3 players aren't jukeboxes..... :)

45's aren't that difficult to find, and they can be had cheap usually. We've got a local record store that sells them for .20 cents once in a while.

Personally, the selection of music available is perfect since the 70's and 80's stuff is what I want to listen to anyway. If there's a newer song you need, there are places online that will cut a record for you for a few bucks, expensive compared to old ones, but if it's your favorite song, what the heck.

Here's a Wurlitzer 1100 I restored a few years back, it's converted to 45's:

Right now I've got five jukes, this Rockola 404 does tune duty in the garage:

Here's a Seeburg 220 awaiting restoration:

I've also got a Wurlitzer 1015 OMT that I recently got working, and it's awaiting a full restoration and a Wurlitzer 2310 that I haven't decided what to do with.

I have both a stereo and a juke in the game room, a Rowe 45 player, love those 45s! I keep the radio on most of the time when Im out there, either working or playing, but when theres any party going on the radios off and the Jukes the center of attention

All these Jukes are awsome but I can't see taking up the space where another game could go, when I can do the same thing with my PC that also runs a separate monitor for the Arachnid dart board, among other things.
But then again, if I already had one cheap, maybe I would change my mind.

Thanks zfcamaro....... now I have something else on my wish list. That is a pimp juke I like the little light show and the spinning columns

I have to say I wanted a juke before I wanted arcade games....
I have to agree with others here, there's nothing like having a real jukebox in the game room. Of course all of the arcades I went to back in the day had them, along with the pool halls, bowling alleys, hell even pizza hut had one. So those memories go hand in hand.
I had considered doing a touchscreen mp3 juke but, as strange as it sounds, I didn't want that many selections... I guess it goes back to the memories of the old game rooms or something, where you didn't have every song at your fingertips.

Anyway, every game room should have a juke, regardless of what kind it is.

I have a 1986 AMI Rowe R-90. Some friends got it with a cottage they bought--they weren't interested in the juke, so they gave it to me. It's stuffed with 80s 45s.
