Never had that one.... I had one with a black cover and some guy playing a game on the front....don't recall the title but it came out around 1981/82.

Also had this one...still have it in storage.

This one was by FAR my favorite book from BITD. My copy is missing it's front and back cover, and several chapters have separated from the spine, but I still have all the pages! I need to get a new copy.

The final chapter discusses games that are "upcoming" and the first application of laserdisc technology (pre-Dragon's Lair), a sample program involving walking down a hallway... in addition to a mention of Larry Rosenthal's lost vector title "Oops!"

Kyle

Great, thanks for listing that book Kyle. Just secured myself a copy of that. The last chapter sounds cool.

you know, i actually brought that to cax with me last week. didn't really help the scores, though.

I still have this one... I also have one by Ken Uston thats different from the one pictured. It's got a yellow cover and is really thick. Think it mostly covers home games.

I also have one more arcade related one, and its by Compute! magazine. I'll get them out and get a couple scans tomorrow if I can find them.

Yeah I checked eBay definitely the most expensive of the 3. The Abebooks also had some of the same prices if not cheaper per book plus shipping compared to amazon.
