How many of you are holding onto brand new NES games?

My second nicest NES game is this:

This is the best of the series IMHO. I also have a NIB Super Metroid for the Famicom (they aren't sealed from the factory)

Nice, both are great games. I really like a lot of the Famicom/SFC packaging and art. I have a CIB Super Mario Picross for SFC and it came in a clear plastic protective shell. I think I only paid like $20 shipped from Japan for it.

That Super Metroid is the tits - I looked for a WHILE to get a decent copy of Chomakaimura and finally found it - I bought it in a lot, and sadly, all the other boxes are either NM or flawless, this one has some wear. I love how the Japanese take such good care of their stuff - all of these games are 100% complete - all the inserts, manuals, plastic.

Will trade my all my super-fami games (not pictured: Final Fight 2, Yoshi's Island, Street Fighter) for your PSX longbox games.

I don't know if they just had a bunch of overstock over there, but almost all the Famicom stuff I've bought over the years has been in top shape considering the age.

Here's an old thread I made about my Famicom and FDS.

Both boxes have a bit of wear, but all intact and have all the manuals, inserts, etc. Even better, both consoles work just great and are also in good shape. I also have a CIB Namcot Star Wars that's in great shape. Terrible game though. Haha.

That's some cool shit holmes - I've considered investing in a Sharp Famicom Twin, if I ever find one for a realistic price - Once in a while you'll find one stateside for a great deal, but it's mostly gouge-pricing on ebay.

When I was in Japan, I went nuts the first game store I went to.

I picked up a Valkyrie Profile, my host tried to explain to me how it was used and may have scratches... No problem, I could repair them. But they were MINT.

Then, I picked up Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV, V, VI and Bahamut Lagoon all CIB, damned near mint for 100yen each.

And if you really want to get in to sealed games, check out Nintendo Age. There are some crazy discussions about spotting fakes, and people who fake games, and some people with the most insane sealed collections ever.
