....help out other KLOVers with buys and transporting games? I am curious because I wouldn't mind getting in on the action.Plus it's frustrating to see some parts of the country overflowing with games,a majority of them selling for next to nothing.Where I'm at,it seems to be a damn desert with very little games and next to nothing on deals.Hard to add to the collection when you can't find anything worth adding to it.

Having access to a truck with a lift gate, I have often helped some local buddies movie a game.

I also have often helped some locals who need to test, or need a small part, or something. Have a buddy nearby (within 5 minutes) with a larger collection than me and we often call each other when we need something or need help.

Plus, I know a few people in the next closest large market cities (San Antonio, Houston, Dallas) and they will sometimes alert me to a CL listing there if they know it's something I've been looking for...

I have helped a fellow KLOVer out time and time again with moving, hauling, and cleaning games. Course, he's a friend of mine before the addiction, so I enjoy it. That and the dude keeps me stocked with parts, art, and cabs. Sa-weeeeeet!

I've helped people move machines before. I don't have a lift truck, but I've got working arms and legs to help haul a machine. As long as it isn't the double screen Xmen. hah

I have alot of Klovers help me, as i have no truck. Rturb0, Jpopson, and Seawolf have all brought/delivered games for me. I also try to hook people up with games i've passed on. Have met alot of klovers, wish i had kept track of all of them, i'm sure i'm forgetting to thank some! Currently have a klover bringing me a game in the next 10 days...

Just pulling your chain sir! :)

It's nice to have collectors near you that like the hobby as much as you do. And as in the post above, a strong friend is a good friend! :D

I've both delivered a game to a KLOV member, and had a KLOV member help me out getting a game delivered.

Anyone in Indy want to help me with getting a game picked up from another KLOVer so I can have it shipped to me? Lukenatme has a cabinet that I really want shipped to me but does not have an accessible place for the van lines to pick it up. Would be an incredible help to a fellow KLOVer!! I am also looking at the Tron that's on craigslist there, it's my understanding that shipping a 2nd machine via the van lines is much cheaper..

All in all, I'm glad I found KLOV and have been bit by the arcade game bug once again.. I must admit I was always sad to see all the arcades gone, but now that I'm experiencing the games in my home, the magic is back! Just want more and more of it, lol!!

I haven't yet, but I would, gladly.

I've had help once. Dig Dug was too big for my truck, so Kalan helped me with that one. Was awesome of him to do that.

I transported a 6player xmen 150 miles recently for a KLOVer. Damn that thing was big. I try to help on transport when I can.

I can help you ship Lukes game and I have the Tron on CL. Or I did. I just sold it. I have a forklift and a loading dock so putting it on there truck is no big deal. Luke is a good guy and I like helping him out. There is another Tron on CL. If you make the deal with him, I could probably get that picked up also. A guy that works for me lives close to that one. PM me. We can figure something out.

Thanks for offering to help, greatly appreciated!! I'll see if Luke still has the game, I'm hoping this will all come together... and I'll bet he's sick of me bugging him on this one, lol... But its a cab that I want pretty bad (my son really wants it and has been playing MK with me) and I've had nothing but dead ends everywhere..

Whats funny about it is I think I sold him that cab this summer. Is it a Black MK2 cab?

I've helped out people all over the country and I've had people all over the country help me out. And this is not limited to friends. I've helped people and others have helped me that, if you read posts here and on RGVAC you would have never thought we would help each other out. I'm glad to see us get by the internet petty-ness and help each other out when it was needed. And we did if for free (or at cost) too.

If you want to "get in on the action", don't be afraid to be the one to offer to help first, rather than waiting/asking them to help you first. You'll make a lot of great friends and get a lot of good connections.
