As I've been reading more and more posts here, I can't get over how many games had black light bulbs in them originally! The producers of those bulbs must have been pretty bummed when the arcade era died, considering how many of these games had a black light bulb in them. Here are the ones I know of already:

1. TRON (had 2, the dark and light black light bulbs)
2. Omega Race (to light up the cardboard
3. Battlezone (read about this one in the DUH! thread)
4. Asteroids Deluxe (read about this one in the DUH! thread)

What other ones were there? I am totally loving the effect they make in TRON and OR!

A lot of 70's era Midway games...

Sea Wolf
Solar Fox
M-4
Extra Bases
Kozmik Krooz'R
Desert Gun
Extra Inning
Tornado Baseball
Laguna Racer
Guided Missile

and a few I think, but need verification....
Kick/Kickman
Double Play
Boot Hill
Blue Shark
Dog Patch

I didn't know either of those used Black Lights. ( for the sake of being stingy the one used in the lower marquee on Tron is called a White Black Light.)

Yep... SI and SID both used white black lights as well. I tried to use a traditional non-white black light in my SI and you could barely see the backdrop. I finally located some at a specialty bulb shop - the guy said he didn't sell many and sold me 2 for a buck a piece.

wow there are alot more than i thought- although i don't think that kick used one. I don't recall there being one in mine or i probably would have kept the game :)

No blacklight in Kick/Kick man. Not sure about others.

is it poss to get a pic blinddog? I have never seen or played that game.

Well I will give it a shot but it looks better in person. It's sort of hard to tell but the castle corners actually rise above the rest of the background and it makes it look like the players are sitting on top of each corner.

Very cool. I'm really glad to see how the game developers took advantage of all of the technologies available to them at that time, to make the gaming experience more enjoyable to the player. All these little nuances definitely add up.

That looks really cool. I like what Atari did with their mirrored setups.
