I've been playing arcade games since the dawn of time (geezer alert). I've seen all kinds of crazy dudes go ape. And I have to admit that (more in the past) I've displayed my share of vented frustration. So, the question is just how mad to you get (at your worst) when playing arcade games?

I have a poll breaking down the pissed off categories on my blog...

just voted. I hit/punch/kick games, hey there my games and they know when they push my buttons Ill push back, HARDER!

Games are people too. You should treat them the way you wish to be treated. The game yields higher score and becomes much more friendly as you calmly deal with adversity.

I chose swear and get crabby. Mostly only on console games, and it is usually because I have to wait for the game to load again when I die. I am not patient enough for that. I tend to just play the game demos now. I haven't played one in a long time that I liked well enough to buy the game to keep playing. I think Trials HD was the last one.

Ok, I downloaded some demos yesterday, so I guess it is time to go get crabby and swear for a bit. Then (when it gets a little warmer) I will go out to the garage and play some Hydro Thunder to actually have some fun. :)

It's the worst for me when playing pinball. Especially in a tournament. I have gotten a bit "aggitated" before.

I really suck at playing games so i don't get too mad. About the only game I ever got mad at while playing was DK on that level at around 90k where you dodge the rivets and climb the ladder. I could never get past that and got hit in the butt every time. I need to buy a DK and conquer that.

I've been doing battle with Super Punchout! lately. Weird game in that a guy that I've beaten 5-6 times in a row (in past games) without laying a glove on me will relentlessly kick my ass out of no where.

Usually a random F-bomb goes flying.

Robotron's another game...I'll make 3-4 impossible..amazing escapes then run square into a non-moving block. Being I don't have the original bezel..it just s sheet of plexiglass...it usually gets a quick right hook.

I swear at my machines a lot, but it's not because I'm mad -- I'm just a naturally vulgar guy. If the environment is right I verbally cut loose.

I've had keyboard-throwing shitstorms over new PC games though. Modern developers really, really need to learn a thing or two about difficulty pacing.

If I lose at a game I usually go shoot up a McDonalds or Crackerbarrel or something, then I go the SPCA and buy a puppy and take my frustrations out on said puppy. Does that make me a monster?

Some people get edgy even when they're not playing:

"Sounds like he just cleared another board, but we could have a wild barrel, or some aggressive fireballs. I thought I was gonna be the first FunSpot kill screen, and then I had three fireballs trap me, I had the hammer in my hand, they still got me..."

I yell "BULLSHIT" a lot while playing. Try not to kick them anymore.......

I have been known to get really pissed playing Golden Tee. Damn chip shots!

I seem to get somewhat animated when I am doing well at Robotron, like up around 850,000 or so, and lose all 5 guys I have in about 10 seconds during a tank wave  If someone else is around, and they happen to be sensitive concerning language, it's unfortunate for them...

Also, I am a Cleveland Browns fan

And just the other day I was playing Battlestations: Pacific on the Xbox 360, when the stupid POS xbox took a crap (E74 error). That caused me to actually wake my wife up! Since then I have taken the POS apart a few times in order to try to repair it; no luck yet. You know what is amazing? I have had a Dreamcast for about 10 years, and it has had 100's upon 100's of hours of play on it - -still chugging along to this day. Have had this Xbox 360 for about 4 months, and it is already acting up.  dam POS!

Donkey Kong is the worst, I will usually hit things in the general area if I die on a fireball (I try not to make it the machine that I hit).

I noticed that when I finish playing a video game that I'm "good at", I'm usually angry and frustrated, but when I finish playing pinball, I am happy and satisfied.

I've had words with my Tempest before. I'm pretty even tempered overall and try not to use swear words though. Question though...why do we have to link to another forum to be able to do these when it's readily available in the vBulletin software?

I turn into a drunken sailor when I'm playing. Mad Planets, Satan's Hollow, and Robotron get to hear my most colorful banter.

In his most recent video you see that they have a 60-n-1 Centipede in their house, that would be enough for me to freak out.

Ok, how many times is that tardspaz going to fall for the same trick of the camera in his room? Those vids have got to be staged...
At least he didn't try to stick the remote up his ass in this one.
