At the top of my Sorcerer, there are 4 lights at the top, A,B,C,D, that when lit make your multipliers go up. You can also rotate the order of the lights that are lit to be able to get them all lit quicker. I've heard that this is a feature in a variety of games, and I wondered how far back this really goes? Do some EM's have this as well?

The ancient phoenicians are generally credited with the first alphabet and therefore the first alpha-based rollovers.

Prior to this, rollovers used numbers, kanji and heiroglyphics.

This is all pre-flipper days you understand.

Another little known fact is that Joan of Arc refused to use a pool cue when playing Bagatelle, and insisted on using her sword.
