I am going to be getting an original Rush Extreme racing in a bit and I understand these cabinets do not come apart. Loading it on my truck wont be hard as the place has a loading dock. Any ideas how to get this thing out though safely and in one piece. Any tricks for moving these. Also how hard is it to take the green bezel off? It wont fit in my door with the bezel on.

I put the dolly behind the cabinet and with some help was able to lift the whole thing up and balance it on the dolly and move up stairs like that. Getting it in the basement required the cabinet to be cut in half. I highly recommend cutting it in half as it is much easier to get it anywhere. If you do cut it in half, be careful of the wire harnesses that go to the seat. I was able to tug them apart from the front because they do have pins/connectors on each. Both versions of the cabinets do have wheels so moving on a floor is a piece of cake.

My dedicated The Rock was so much easier to move as it is made to come apart, which made me decide on doing the cut. I did have to add 4 more wheels to make it like the Rock cabinet.

The bezel is pretty easy. Keep in mind that they are security/tamper torx screws. Three or four up top and I think 4 or five on the bottom (either side of the steering wheel). You will have to unplug about 4 wire harnesses that go from the cab to the bezel (also the marquee power). You will have to let the steering wheel down first- 4 security torx bits under it.

I think it would be silly to cut it if the only issue is getting it unloaded. If getting it down some stairs into a basement is a problem, then sure, but otherwise just get some help unloading it. It does have casters and will roll quite easily as long as you're on level ground. If you've got a good ramp to unload it, I would recommend blankets on the ground and ramp to allow it to slide off the ramp while the wheels are in the air.

I've never taken the bezel off but I don't think it'll be that hard. You have to remove a bunch of screws to drop the steering column and free the bezel on the bottom edge, and then there's a hinge on the top you'll have to remove. You'll also have to detach the wiring for the buttons and the marquee light.

Good luck and enjoy it! If you're only getting one, I hope you have plans to get another and link them.

I think it's around 400 lbs maybe, no way over 600.

I am installing 4 additional wheels, two per section near the cut. I found the exact ones at a hardware store. Then since the wheels are supporting the weight, a simple bracket painted black on each side will do the trick.

well I am going to try to avoid cutting it in half. It will be going on my first floor, it won't have to make it down or up any stairs. Just needs to be able to fit through my door.

Then just remove the bezel and monitor and it should move easier. Remove the bill changer too if you have one. I know others have removed their seat also.

I know there are some bolts on the front and back

These things are HELL to move. I had an extreme racing and this thing was a monster. To get it up a 6 inch step I had to get a crowbar and 3 people to help me get it through. These are great games but I am never buying one ever again.

... I wish I had a 6" step

We currently have 9 in our 3rd story apt (went a little overboard). The hardest ones by far were rush and arctic thunder. We did cut rush in half and have the brackets on the side and it does not sag one bit. If you have the ability to pull the monitor then I would for sure. I learned as I went.

PS Rush is for sale but you have to get it out... Hence the cheap price =)

9 in a 3rd story--how does the floor not cave in!? :D That's dedication right there.
