I'm in the process of a full out restoration and was wondering how I would go about restoring the dirty Pac style PS? May I just wash everything out with water and let it dry?

I apologize if this is a duplicate question or the incorrect section.

Are you talking about the transformers, line filter, and fuse blocks located on a board in the bottom of the cab? Yeah, simple green and a hose off should do it. But I wouldn't let the wood get too wet for too long, or it'll swell and warp.

When I cleaned mine up, I dismantled the whole thing (de-soldered the wires from the lugs of the transformers too) and replaced the chunk of wood with a new piece. I transferred over all the labels and cardboard cover for the 4 position fuse block too. I cleaned all the wiring with simple green and hosed it off. Then I used wire ties and re-routed everything better when I hooked it all back up again.

wait..you washed the big transformer?

No, washed all the wiring. The 2 Transformers (game voltage and monitor iso) both got wiped down with a damp rag and brushed with a toothbrush after I removed them from from the wood plate. I did the same with the line filter and fuse blocks.

Thanks all. I wipe the transformers with Simple Green, replace the fuse blocks, and just wash the wiring? Just double-checking. I'm trying to make a bulletproof game pretty much.
