how do you tell ??

This one is easy. First you order a Bob Roberts deluxe rebuild kit and install it.

If it works, it's a standard res.
If it doesn't, its medium res.
:D

Honestly, I have no clue. There is some hacked on crap all over my medium res chassis, but half of it can also be on a standard res chassis from what I have learned. I will be happy to hear someone explain to me exactly how to tell them apart without a blatant label too.
 
Well, Mod said in another post that they use different ICs. So if you know which IC each uses you should be able to tell the boards apart. Of course, I just plug the monitor into a cab and look at the display. If it is standard res it will sync (possible after adjustments), if it is med res it will have multiple overlaping images.
