How do you tell a customer "I don't give a crap"

Why, by using the worst packaging possible.

This was a good G07 19" tube, with no burn.
I say it again.

WITH NO BURN.

FRAK! :banghead:

It looks like when the tube broke, the screen got crap on it from the backfire.
It's no more repairable then a burnt screen.

Obviously with the Autentico Foods sticker, someone thought there was something tasty inside the box.

mon

buyers of monitors or tubes should ask enough to know what kind of packing job the seller is going to do and if its close to oem standards of packing.

sellers of monitors or tubes should know how to pack a tube or monitor, its not that hard you just copy the way of the oem, can be done with free materials and a carving knife

Dang that sucks!

Whenever I ship somthing to someone, I always think how would I want it shipped to me?

It happened to me once. Now I ship all my monitors screen facing down and a plank of wood over the back of the chassis to give support if anything is put ontop of the box. That way their is not pressure on the neck.

I have one if you need another it is seriously so close to zero burn. I thought it was zero for a while but with my good eyes I can barely see something in the middle of the screen in the right light with everything off.

I've had cabinets show up with a monitor mounted properly inside, and a back door on it, and the neck broken. Apparently you can't leave anything loose inside the cab....

Oh, that sucks. Must have been like a quarter in the dryer.
Well, I'm trying my luck with a Tovis 19" now. $104 on eBay.
If that fails I'll give you a buzz. My current Missile C. looks fine
until the blue level. Then the burn is pretty bad.

bought a 19 inch amplifone with no burn that looked great...until I got it broken and packaged shitttily. At least I got my money back. Part of me thinks it was always broken.

Doesn't matter how you pack it. You ought to see the "sort" when UPS or FedEx handles your packages. "This side up" is to give you a false sense of security and the boys in brown and purple something to laugh at. I commend you for taking the extra effort to package your monitors as carefully as possible. If you have good success at it, keep at it. I try to reuse the monitor boxes that came with Happ or Imperial monitors. Since they are shipping them anymore, my source for these has dried up. I don't ship many monitors any more.

I agree totally (though, it doesn't stop with FedEx and UPS). The sorting process for ANY shipper is brutal....and it only gets worse when disgruntled employees are added to the mix. I say it all the time....if you don't feel comfortable tossing your package as hard (and as high) as you can in the air....it's not ready to ship. It should be mandatory for every young adult to work 30 days in a shippers sorting hub!
