How do you put games on Location ?

I gotta say if I owned a bar or the like I would love to have games. I would think it wouldnt be to bad if they have an empty space and its a 50/50 split? Just make sure everything is in order and leave a business card on every machine(where it cant be removed if possible) Every machine around me has the same business card but when you call about something there ***hooollleeees

I would think to keep owners happy, as long as you supply games that keep the patrons of the establishment interested and they stay there and keep spending money at said establishment they would be happy.

So make contacts, find locations, and try to figure out which games will do well there. Unless your talking about putting pins on location, I would say it's safe to assume most games would be JAMMA. Most people going out now a day's are probably not going to be into the classics such as DK, Pac-Man, etc. More of the games that they played like SF, MK, NBA Jam, and shit like that. The reason I say that is I am in the age group of the bar crowd and this is what I would want to play. But, if you want to make real money just get a damn Golden Tee, that seems to be the bar favorite, and for restaurants get a driving game as you'll have little kids begging their parent's for money so they can drive around for a bit.

I've done it - I will NEVER do it again. Put your games on location and kiss 'em goodbye.

Sigh - wish I still had my Frogger and Ms. Pac Man may they rest in pieces.

Always put generic games, not classics on location. People these days have little to no respect for things like these and like to beat them up instead of enjoy them.

how can you say that? your 14, its totally different in an adults eyes.

I am 22, not much older but I know that when ANY adult comes to my house and see galaga and donkey kong they flip out and start talking about back in the day and want to play them. Then they play them and there happy cause its been so long. This has happened with over 30 adults, ranging from peoples parents coming over or family. And I am almost positive you can get that same reaction on location, PENDING where.

Thanks for all the advice !

Yeah I wouldn't put any game that you can't get parts for . No way on the dedicated classics .

So you got me thinking , what games would be good for certain locations ..........

The biggest dilemma for me is I don't have a vehicle to move the games . Most guys have a lift for their truck too . Maybe I could get a cheap beater truck for moving the games , it would be only local .

Pending location, mortal kombat/street fighter, neo geo, golden tee are probably your best bet, at least from what I see when I go to places. Golden tee for a bar, and if its a college bar then the MK or SF cause thats all anyone played back in the day lol (realize college kids now had snes era)

I think a Galaga , Ms Pac , Centipede and some of the other really popular classics would make money anywhere .

the pac galaga reunion ALWAYS is being played whenever I see one, pizza places tend to have them the most, however I can imagine greasy hands all over it so idk if its wise to buy one new for that.

What about if a game gets stolen ? Does the business have insurance that covers that ?

I know the bigger games would be tough to steal but what about a cocktail , those are pretty easy to move ?
