How do you make a double donkey kong????

You don't.
You send your boardset to Mike's Arcade.

It is one boardset that is modified to run both games. It is not available in any kind of kit form.

Also, don't forget this can only be done on a DK jr Boardset.

Yea i have both boards. Ugh well i guess ill just keep what i have and swap connectors. I think $160 is pretty "out there" for this work so i may pass for now. Once arcade is done i may do the upgrade.

If it wasn't for me already having the high score save and DKII setup on the DK then i would be more apt to do it. Dont really want to loose DKII by selling off my DK board to help finance this.

The running sounds on DK blow. Sold mine bacause it annoyed me so much.

I just read that and i think that definately changed my decision. I think if i actually have to "work" to change the board then it will mean something to me when i go to change it rather then just press player 1 and 2 simultaniously.

You could actually make an adaptor that would allow you to leave both a Donkey Kong boardset AND a Donkey Kong Jr boardset inside of your cabinet.

This would involve installing a second board holder and some custom wiring, but then you could swap between the two games with a switch or swapping a single connector over. Both games would play on original equipment also.

There used to be an older FAQ about doing something like this. I think most of the wires stayed hooked up, but the switch would activate/deactivate the power lines on the boards.

The board holder shelf will accommodate 2 board sets, you just need to make an extension piece to hold the top of the boards.
I used a flat bar with holes and cut it to the required length.
You should be able to get connectors and pins from Mouser or Mikes Arcade to make a short harness from the back board set to plug into your main harness,so you don't have to remove the boards to change from one to the other.
You would just plug into the short harness to play that board.
The front one you would then plug into the board like usual.

I thought Mark Speath made a switcher for DK boards.
