By coin door? Headbox glass or height?

I have 2 that are diff sizes so i currently have them lined up by coin door/front.

Mine are lined up by how good the side art is. I have one that is bad on both sides so it gets the middle. So I guess cosmeticly for me

Side art.

I also go by side art. The one with cool art is the one that I would like people to see when they first walk in. The first one that I have is fish tales. I think that machine has nice side art.

I go by oldest to newest myself - older machines tend to be a bit smaller so the size generally increases in the same pattern..

Mine are setup by type (WPC, WPC95, and early electronic). Then within the types they are lined up by either theme or by game designer.

I have the Universal monster games side by side (Monster Bash and Creature From the Black Lagoon). Then Scared Stiff next to them.

Medieval Madness and Attack From Mars are side by side (same game designer & WPC95 games).

Twilight Zone and Addams Family Gold are side by side (same game designer and WPC games).

The John Popadiuk (game designer) games are grouped together (they include: Theatre of Magic, Cirqus Voltaire, Tales of the Arabian Nights and Star Wars EP1). Sorry but I sold the World Cup Soccer.

The Steve Ritchie games are grouped together by WPC and then SYS7 games. They include Star Trek TNG, Getaway and then Black Knight.

I have Black Knight, Solar Fire and Pharaoh group together. These are the original 'double level' Williams games. I sold Jungle Lord (did not like it).

I have only one Gottlieb now so it is by itself in the corner but I had the Gottlieb's grouped together when I had them. These were the 1980's multi-level games (Black Hole, Haunted House, Spirit and Krull). Now Black Hole is by itself.

I go by what space is available at the time and move them if I get someting new and have to figure out how to get them all in the basement. I have no idea where to put the next one, but I am sure the girlfriend will either tell me not to buy it or to sell the one she does not like.

Mine are lined up by manufacture date. In general, it's best to line up front of all of the cabinets. If you think to how an arcade is set up, all of the players stand in a line when playing pinball or even video games.

Here is a pic of the main set of pins. I also have a HH and BK on another wall.
