I have searched the forums and I keep seeing people say clean the fuse holders but no one ever says how.

Well what is the best way to get them clean?

I use the cheap harbor freight wire brush set that kinda look like toothbrushes. You can also just use steel wool. Clean the ends of the fuses too.

Yep I am gonna bust out my dremel in the morning. I wasn't thinking about that. I also have a few brushes so it should turn out pretty nice.

If the holders are burnt, it is suggested they be replaced, as the mechanical properties will have changed. IE the spring tension etc.

If they are not overheated then go for it :)

If the contacts are tarnished, the Dremel with wire wheel will clean it up. However, if the contacts are burnt, that's the time to replace the fuseholder.
