1 of my favorite games ever is Tecmo Bowl and I want to build a mini cabinet to play on sundays against buddies. I noticed the edge connector is different in these boards. I am only familiar with newer jamma connectors. Does someone make an adapter for boards like this:

to be played on a standard jamma cabinet ?

Thanks guys
Chris

You'll need a Playchoice Motherboard that accepts those roms, that mobo can then use an adapter to work in a jamma-cab.

You'll also need a control panel with extra buttons for Channel Select, Enter, Select, Start, and Reset functions.

I think it would be better/cheaper to build a cab and install a bare TV tube and chassis and NES system in it if you really just want to play Tecmo Bowl. And you can also play Tecmo Super Bowl for the NES which is better.

+1 on using an NES; you could even buy one of the newer cheap clones on Amazon or at a local Play N Trade or other game store and get a spare. Put in a Goodwill $3 TV, wire up a nice CP, or if you have a spare old PC, run an NES emulator then you also open the door to MAME, SNES games, etc.

Then as they used to say when I worked at Babbage's - you can play Super Tecmo Bowl tapes on your Intendo. And NBA Jamz tapes, etc.
