I'm just going to snip the dag, but there's this wooden block keeping the cord in the cab. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are replacing simply because the ground prong is gone, I use these all the time on games with missing ground prongs as long as the cord isn't shredded.

+1 rep. I also need to correct a missing prong on my red DK. And, there is a harbor freight 1 minute from my work. Thanks for the suggestion!
All my games but 1 have needed me to do that. I go to walmart, home depot, lowes etc they all have those ends.
Thanks and no problem. I've only replaced a cord in the worst cases. I try to keep 2 or 3 of those yellow plugs on hand for new purchases that are bound to have the ground prong missing.![]()
Nintendo used some massive insulation on those cords. they're also about 50 feet long. they're pretty awesome.
is there some plausible reason why people break ground pins off and lose back doors to games so frequently?
