Looking to switch my Ms. Pac over to one of these xx in 1 type boards. How do I do it? Really just looking to add the other Pac games and the Galaga / Galaxian type stuff. Is there something as simple as just swaping boards? Or do I have to add buttons and a bunch of other stuff?

If it has completely original wiring, it is super easy to install a 60-in-1. You can just pop one of these boards from lizard lick onto your original harness and it allows you to use the start buttons as the 60-in-1 buttons.

I'd be careful if you're trying to do a plug and play jamma set up because I found this board didn't have enough power to run my gallag board. The board has onboard rectification, but I'm not sure off the top of my head what the specs are. There's also a video here that you can check out where it explains it a bit.

When I did this to my pac, the LL adapter was out of stock...seems like it still is. So I just used this: http://www.jammaboards.com/store/jamma-pcb-to-pacman-cabinet-adapter/prod_273.html and an ATX power supply. It just plugs right into the adapter to power the board. Your existing power supply will power your monitor and marquee. As for buttons, there's a jumper section on the adapter that allows the use of P1 and P2 buttons to be fire/jump buttons.

I'll sell you my LL adapter for 50 shipped if you want. I installed a jamma harness so I could run gallag and no longer need it.

Thanks for the help. So I get this right I need this board along with the 60-in-1 board?

so in that video the 4 other buttons the guy added ware optional? he could have just stuck with the two existing buttons and had everything you need to play all the games?

Yeah, you can just use the two start buttons and you can play every game on the 60-in-1 except for gunsmoke. Most people just install only 2 buttons anyways and just leave gunsmoke turned off. It's such a great option for a Ms. Pac because it adds a bunch of games and gives you the flexibility to leave everything original.

Edit: BTW you can also wire additional buttons if you want to install more on your MsPac control panel.

How did this thread go so far without someone knocking the fact someone wants to multi a Ms. Pac? I'm not knocking it, but I expected a flame war from someone. Glad everyone is recommending the adapter for it to keep it original. Go with the Phoenix Arcade ArcadeSD board instead of the 60in1! MUCH better.

I'm not hacking anything up, just swapping some boards for a while. Besides I'll do whatever I want with my stuff.

No problem. I was criticizing. I would recommend the ArcadeSD board though. MUCH better sound and emulation.
