When reading the content of your messages and comparing to your stats in the upper right corner, it appears that many of you don't update your list. I'm curious about that as to why not. That's one of the first things I do when I get a new game. Am I being childesh by wanting to see that new number?

I like the connection opportunities with VAPS.

On the wanted portion of the list, I actually had someone reach out to tell me about a Satans Hollow that I've wanted. I ended up getting it. Had that not happened, I wouldn't ever had known about it.

I don't have nearly as many games as most of you, but I also like to update my VAPS to see the new numbers. But then again, I'm anal when it comes to stuff like that. One that sticks out in my mind is Phet's- IIRC, I always see "8 Games" in his posts. From the 837 pictures of his game room, he obviously has more than 8...

I add them as I feel the need. I really have deleted more than I have added. My gameroom line-up is ever-changing.

Mine is up to date.

Though, I think most guys only care if someone is selling something. The problem is that most lists are not up to date. It's sort of like a shot in the dark if you're interested in a game that is supposedly for sale.

Greg did mention he added a feature that is a bit more helpful when searching for games for sale and to see if profiles have been updated recently: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=134025

I keep mine up to date except possibly the condition. I'm not that good about going back and upping the condition as I fix and/or restore a game.

That's funny. It was his listing that motivated me to start this thread, even though I've noticed this before.

Mine's always up-to-date. When I get a new game, my VAPS entry typically gets updated at a red light while I'm driving it home.

I believe I have had that option enabled since the first day I came here; still is enabled..

Ahh, I see that my VAPS username is not the same as the one I use here.. could be the issue..

Wow, and I thought I was bad for waiting until I get home. ;)

So to answer the original question, yep, I try to keep mine up to date.

I just updated mine a few days ago so it's pretty accurate. I didn't take a hard inventory, just off memory, so I'm certain there are a few more laying around, but was suprised to see my vaps pcb tally hit 81. This doesn't include the 20 or so I mean to sell off :(
