Hey All,
So I am an old school collector who never really got into the PCB repair part of this hobby and who's wants to do a bit more here now that I am back into the hobby. I just picked up a really nice Millipede conversion (believe it was Kangaroo underneath). I tested the game at the sellers location, bought it, loaded it, and got home to experience gameplay resetting.
Messed around a bit with the edge connector and now I have getting 2 beeps with a space in between which I believe means the 2E/E2 RAM chip is bad.
So two questions:
1 - Is this a totally common Atari PCB issue? I seem to remember the same from an old Millipede I had...
2 - Should I stock up on RAM chips to deal with this in the future or is this a one time fix?
Thanks all
Gil
