How big is your game room?

I've got a room about 13' x 13' for my "game room". I put that in quotes because the room also has a very large poker table in there (4 feet in diameter) that takes up the center of the room. I can only fit my HS-5 Dynamo in one corner, and MAYBE I have room for one more cabinet although it will be awkward to fit that in there.

I basically don't have room for more cabinets and made a mistake when I bought this house 9 years ago. :(

Just started my collection, these are in my garage. Not sure the sq ft, but basically a oversized 3 car. It's almost as long as my house...lol. figure i can fit 20-30 machines along the walls. And still fight our 2 cars in there with door room. We will see. I could fit 4-5 more racing cabs along wall in photo when i remove the storage and work bench.

Mine is about 100 sq ft and I have 8 uprights in very tight. I also have two cabarets in my office and one pinball just outside the arcade.

I've got 3 different spots in the house where I have games, and they're all pretty small.

My main game room, "Zombies Ate My Arcade," is like 13X14 and houses 6 pins and 2 vids. That's the one that's hidden behind a book case:

Then I've got "Room 237" upstairs, which is my 80's/Shining-themed game room, with 6 vids and 1 pin. That room's even smaller; probably like 11X12

Lastly, I've got my pirate bar, where I've got my Donkey Kong and Warlords cocktail:

I have the opposite problem - too many games and not enough space . I have no dedicated gameroom , I just have them in the livingroom . You're very lucky to have that problem .

These guys with their basements crack me up!

3 Uprights and a cocktail in the DINING room, 1 Poker machine in the basement, and two more in the living room!

"Game room square feet"............. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I'm in a net-negative square footage situation!

I have a 1600sqft basement and about 60+ pins and vids and a bowler down there. still room for other things also.

Wow! What I wouldn't give for a basement. That's not even a word in Texas! :)

I've got a loft type game room with just under 300ft^2, and 8 full size uprights, 60 inch TV on the wall, a 4' table and 4 chairs, and a weight bench. It's comfortable, unless I want to work on a machine; then I have to move everything around.

While we're on the subject, at what point do/did you start adding additional power and cooling. My game room has a single 20 amp circuit. Right now, I'm pulling about 13 amps with everything on. I'm also noticing it starts getting warm when the machines have been on for a couple of hours. I'm about to glass in the balcony side of the loft so my wife can watch Pit Bulls and Paroles in peace, so I expect it to get even warmer.

Ive got a 4+ attached car garage thats finished with a big 3 season off the back for my game room. I estimate its about 1700 - 1800 square feet (not including the porch). Still working on getting it all going now. Doing half of the area at a time so I have space to shove games and tools around.

My game room is 2400ft^2, the most I've had in it was roughly 20 with 1 being a big t-mek and 1 a big motion game. I have had as many as 6 vehicles in it and still have 2 10x12 rooms a bathroom with a full shower and washer/dryer downstairs and 2 more 10x12 rooms with a kitchen upstairs.

We normally have most off the family birthday parties here and will put tables in the center, put the food out on the work benches and a couple of times have set a dj up in the kitchen since it looks down into the bottom. For who ever the party is for we put a disk with pictures playing on the tv set to keep playing. Afterward's the kids have a slumber party and play the games thru the night and have movies going.

Although I get to cheat since my gameroom is a shop that we built for other hobbies but now is a gameroom. Let me say that it may sound nice but I've got to run through the rain or cold to get to my games i would much rather have a gameroom in the house.

I have tried to respond to this thread before but it sounded like I am bragging. I was reminded that my solutions might fit some one else out there so I should post about it.

like Most people I ran out of space and to this day I continue to do so.

A friend wanted to get involded with arcade collecting.
His wife didn't want him to go spending money on this new hobby. We struck a deal. I would let him borrow 6 games for 6 months and if he lost interest after the 6 months the games would come home. He got the feel of owning machines without the cost of buying and restoring the machines. I got free space and the knowledge that the games will be played with.

Friends talks and Soon more of my games get pressed into service.

I keep telling my friends that I have a fear of the day when the games are all going to come back home. I dont have the room. I will have.to rent or buy another warehouse.

According to the spread sheet after the games I have donated and given away i think I am in the mid 160s

Someday the collection will be in one place but I hope not now...

Just a side note, i dont think anyone should feel bad for sharing what they have, as long as its done with excitement and not arrogance. Some will always have more than others, that's the way the world works.

I have a dedicated home theater in my basement, with 10 seats on risers, 9ft screen...blah blah blah. But there are others out there who have better trappings on the walls, "seats", screen, sound system etc. I dont get envious when seeing their pics, they worked hard for that and i am happy and enjoy their accomplishments through them telling me and showing me. I'm also really proud and love my theater. Said that to say, lets all enjoy hearing what setups ppl have, and dont feel bad sharing.
