Don't know if anyone has seen this, yet, but I thought I would post it.

http://houston.craigslist.org/vgm/2659735968.html

Looks like a pretty broad assortment of games and other machines. Probably some pretty awesome projects in there.

If anyone calls about it, I'd be interested in what they have there. Seems like they're wanting 150 for arcade games, but I'd be shocked if they didn't want to wheel and deal.

Hmm looks like a mixed bag. Most of the machines I can make out look pretty well stripped down to the cabinet/coin door. :/

Yeah. That's why I was curious how willing they would be to make deals.

If it were closer, I'd try to swing by and scout it out.

From the pics they've posted it all just looks like junk.... Cranes for $150? They normally go for less than $5 at the Mesquite auctions!

Note my use of the word "projects".

It's also hard to say how bad they want to unload this stuff. Their initial prices might be more wishful thinking.

Circuit board repairs are minor and cost less than $50?

Really?

I need to get his repairman's contact info.

A buddy of mine has been talking to this guy over a a few games the last several days and it's been a pain in the ass more than anything. He won't budge on prices either.

That's all I need to know. He can keep the full warehouse.

Real intel = EPIC WIN.

I got enough projects on my plate anyways (APB, Champ Sprint, and Warlords).

Someone should load up a couple 4'x8' sheets of MDF in their truck, drive over there, and try to work out an 'even trade' for some of these junkers.

"Dude, your shit is used, my shit is NOS!" :D

I was already headed to Houston the weekend after he posted that, so mailed him to schedule a viewing. Alas, he didn't respond until the following Monday .. so no clue what all he had. He just said in his reply that he had 35 left, and people had told him the Ms Pac and Galaga games weren't in original cabs.

I could see from the crappy photo that the Ms. Pac's aren't original cabs!
