That prototype Mystic Marathon marquee is the coolest thing I've ever seen! Such rich colors and detail! We gotta get RikiTiki to start reproducing this masterpiece! :D

Nah, didn't you see the copyright on it.:)

Nice pics! Did those two Mystic Marathons belong to you?
Yes. I now own 1/3 of the world's known Mystic Marathon reserves...;)

wow that light cycle looks cool as hell!!!

i see a journey in there also.........

The light cycle was cool. It was all cardboard and thick paper with some electro wire highlights. Similar ones will be in theaters soon.

Yes there was Journey there as well as Varkon for Jose.

nice. i want that williams row!

You mightn't say that after hauling it down and back...

Nice selection of machines (esp. Quantum and the color vectors), pictures like these almost make me think a real arcade could succeed in Texas. Then I remember the state taxes and fees. How much was admission? 25 cents per play? Looks like a lot of the pins had price stickers but not so much on the vids.

This is madness!

Anyways, back to the show. I had a great time as usual... and found out that I have a new love. Exidy's Star Fire. Man, what an amazing game. Too bad it is so rare. :(

I wish I could have spent a bit more time at the show. I had been wanting to try out a Diner pin for a while and thought it was pretty cool that they had one. My only dissapointment is that there was a few pins I didn't get a chance to try out.

That's not a Star Fire it's a Star Wars, isn't it? ;)

It's a Star Fire. I had a hard time reading it when it was in the back of John's truck. And it is heavy. Damn near got a hernia getting up on the loading dock.....

BTW: Hyde, it was for sale if you really wanted it. It might still be. Let me know and I will see if I can contact the owner (it is not me).

Actually, that would be pretty cool if you could do that. I'm really interested in this game... and doesn't it come apart in 2 pieces? I guess the cab is still massive anyways.

I'll try to get his email address in the next couple of days.

It does come apart, but but the front section is damn heavy or at least bulky anyway. It is on wheels so once you get it to the right level you can push it around.
