Here's the deal. I acquired some time ago a dedicated Galaga and a dedicated (fast) MS PacMan. They were both working when acquired but now the Ms PacMan gets Wavy and the Galaga starting freezing up. I figure a Cap Kit on Ms PacMan will do the trick for her. The Galaga is a different story.

My research led me to the possible solution of reseating the chips with the risk of breaking a leg on a chip. So I accepted the risk and attempted to reseat the chips.. sure enough I lost a leg (or two) on a chip. bummer.

As time progressed I acquired another Galaga of the same vintage that was mostly working but had what I would call the jitters and booting problems. The gentleman I acquired it from suspected the power supply. The cabinet on my newly acquire machine was mostly toast but it held together long enough to make the trip from Baton Rouge, La, to Spring, Texas.

I tried direct board swaps but that didn't fly, I tried swapping the chip that had the broken leg but that didn't fly either. Keep in mind my experience a capabilities are amatuerish at best.

Since the cabinet was bad on Galaga #2, I have stripped all the good stuff out and put the cabinet on the burning pile. (I figured once I get my current Galaga running I'll have a celebration Prye with it.)

The synopsis of all this is that I need help repairing my Galaga. I am looking for someone to come to my home if possible and repair it. While they are here, putting a Cap Kit in the Ms PacMan would be an additional task. As for compensation, I can see this going several directions; A)full on trade (parts for service), B)partial trade (some parts, some cash) or B)cash payment only. Depending on what I'm left with I'll email the parts or sell to who ever wants them.

Anyone willing to take me up on this offer? If so, reply here with contact info or shoot me and email with estimate and contact info.

As for my location, I am located off of Rayford Road in Spring Texas 77386. Rayford is not that long of a road so that should be enough information to give you a general idea of where I live with out stirring up the crazies.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to working with at least one of you!
