So my landlords just picked this up for their kids for xmas. Unfortunately the image is not centered. I believe you need a remote to adjust these guys, but can anyone confirm? Does anyone know where to buy a remote?

My landlord said this is not the Toshiba monitor rather the Mitsubishi. I could't find any ID on the chassis.

Hey, didnt notice until now, its a House of the Dead 2. Its a NAOMI game, means its a VGA monitor. Means its like our 18 Wheeler, youre going to need a remote to adjust it. Id borrow alogitech harmony, read the numbers off the back, and give that a shot. You can try some generic mitsubishi rptv codes too, or if you know someone who happens to have a mitsu rptv. I think those work too.

As for the remote functions, you can try the sega service site to pull up the manual for hotd or 18 wheeler or other deluxe NAOMI games should have some instructions.

Mecha, Slots, thank you. I am not sure of its state prior to being shipped. I think they got it from a warehouse down south.

I will pass along this info and perhaps we can track down a remote. I can't imagine a cap kit on this would be fun :)

absolutely not. even worse is when the convergence ICs go bad on it. luckily they make those LCD retrofits for these, they're expensive though. when you consider either a) you attempt to dump money into it and fix yourself or b) you call on a TV repair service, you're probably looking at a bunch of money there anyway. parts and especially documentation on these are like next to impossible to come by. at least with the LCD then you'll be good for a few years, I'm guessing.
