Hot Air Desolder Stations

Has anyone used these hot air desolder stations?

Curious if I should stick to a solder iron and a desolder pump or get one of these rework stations with the hot air feature. See the below link and especially around 1:16 in. They seem to make short order with desoldering components.

If you do SMD work either one of those of a pair or hot tweesers is essential. For removing QFP packages it's a must. You can get different heads for the thing to fit to the various packages, what that video didn't show if you can get a SOIC-16 head and not have to move the head around to spread the heat. The downside is you can totally feck up a circuit board if you overhead it, you have to be careful with the temperatures.

I use a Hakko 850 myself, but the Atten ones appear to be a clones of the Hakkos. I bought a set of Atten heads for my 850 that fit identically, and cost like 1/10th of the price.
