Horiz Width Question

So I have a few games (Blitz and Sports Jam) that have the horiz width way too much. Missing a good 1/2-1 inch on both sides (meaning the game is stretched passed the screen by that much). I have tried moving he jumper pin but it either seems to make no difference, or little difference. these are both K7000 chassis so they have no Horiz width pot, at least that I can find.

Anyway, I was reading up on Bob's write up about Horiz width. http://www.therealbobroberts.net/width.html

Since mine is having the problem where it's too big, is it possible that just removing one of these caps would fix the issue? Possibly was it installed at some point for a different board set? Neither of these monitors are original to these cabinets and games.

When I was doing caps kits, I noticed this ceramic caps on the bottom of the pcb and wondered what they were.

Thanks.

The jumper is for horizontal POSITION. Most older monitors don't have a pot for horizontal SIZE... but instead have a an adjustable coil.

Bob explains it in some detail here:

AFAIK, K7000s have such a coil. Check your manual for a diagram. Get a tool for it, and try adjusting your width coil before worrying about the width caps.

OH, ok. Well that makes sense. However there is a Horizontal position pot, just not a size.

To the width coil I go :). I already have the plastic tools for the job, just wanted to make sure before messing with it.
