Wheres the love for this game? Seems like a forgotten classic. In fact its so hard to come by, I had to order from ebay. Couldn't find it local and I've collected for years!.

The game is: Stunt Race FX

It used the same FX graphics chip as Star fox. When Stunt Race FX first game out, us neighborhood friends thought that graphics couldn't possibly get any better than this. The 3d polygons were something only seen in arcades. The replayability was great, you find yourself trying to beat your best times, shooting for perfection. I like the way the suspensions of the cars work (had never seen it so realistic to real physics, albeit sort of a cartoon physics) and did you think the cartoon eyes on the headlights were sorta creepy or neat?

Meh.... only thing that saves this game is the sounds and overall layout of the game. Controls are awful and the frame rate is the worst even for the FX chip standards.

game was extremely hard to beat. The times you had to beat were so extreme that you really could not even make a mistake. Very laggy if I remember right. Still, it was a neat game for the time.

Never played it.I was probably busy wailing on Chrono Trigger,Final Fantasy 3,Super Punch-Out,Clayfighter,Super Metroid,Super Castlevania IV,MK II,Mega Man 7,or any of the Mega Man X games to even consider this title.

It's an OK game... But we had the PAL version, so the frame rate was pretty bad, if I recall.

It's not too hard to find, especially loose. I didn't have a hard time tracking down a boxed copy.

However a number of these cartidges are being hacked up to make Starfox 2 carts.

Technically speaking this game sucked! But I had a lot of fun playing it back in the day and still had a lot of fun playing it a month or so ago when plugged my cartridge in. I remember thinking it was way cool. I feel like it was impressive to have two players with those graphics.

it was ok and had novelty.

Mario Kart > F-Zero > Stunt Race FX

but this game gave you a real sense of altitude and ......i'm not sure how to explain it but the physics of the game is what impressed me. I think I had a bad experience with the ultra slow frame rate of race drivin or hard drivin for the genesis. But to tell you the truth Stunt race Fx's frame rate never bothered me much. check out the youtube vid...
