Yes. It was very nice, had a rebuilt 6100 though. One year ago, I sold it for 8 bills to a forum member from Missouri who was REALLY looking for one. I wanted to make his dreams come true. He still has it and it still works flawlessly from what I've heard. I'm just really debating getting one with an Amp to see what all the hype is. I've got some discretionary cash sitting here, waiting for the auction this Saturday, but if I don't find anything I like, I may be up for grabbing another Star Wars. Crazy hobby.

You're going too? I'll be there as well. I am picking up a cab from Chris too. I will definately have to say hi.

I offered $450 for a working one (with lots of issues) that had a 6100 in it about a week or so ago. It didn't work out. Probably for the better though, cause I would have dumped in 2x that to make it right (it needed all the art replaced, a new yoke, etc too).

"Central PA would be like Harrisburg, Lancaster, Reading, etc"

Or a little more West, like say in Centre County! I never go how Harrisburg called themselves Central PA.

To the original question, I suppose $800 would be my tops for any game, really.

I don't think I've missed one in 5 years.

I'll be there too -- picking up a cab from Caravanman05 (Chad)....and stepping into my first MOMA auction to see what all the hype is about ;)

But seriously, I will be looking for a parts cab to assist in my Ms Pac resto.

I paid $600 for an 8/10 with the 6100. (needed $80 in board repairs).

I wanted one for years but mentally I just cant pony up much more than that for a 30 year old box with a TV in it. I waited and waited until a decent deal came up. Took my about 5 years.

I would never pay more than 25$. I own 78 games and never payed more than 30$ for anything. and lets be real star wars isnt rare. I mean I already have a cockpit which I got for 35$ (most I payed for a game cause it came with a seat)

You're just silly.

The going rate for an 8/10 SW w/amp is around $800-$1000 in my part of the world. Would I pay that much? No, because I prefer picking up project games.

Thanks to ArcRevival including me in a bulk deal a couple years ago, I was able to aquire a 7/10 SW with amplifone for a very reasonable price. Turned out to be serial number 33.

I paid 650.00 for my upright back in '98. It has a 6100 in it with a CC SW/ESB kit in it from back then. Has worked flawlessly all these years with only simple maintenance.

I do not see what all the hype is about the amplaphone monitor. I've played both side by side and can't tell any difference. I'd put my Star Wars with the 6100 against an amp any day for reliability and picture clarity.

I'm sure others will have different opinions....

That being said, I'd go to 800.00 today for one. Cockpit prices, on the other hand, are insane.

Picked one up in MN recently for $800 and it came with an ESB board (full converted extra boardset). 2 scratches on the whole game. Had a hosed 6100 in it. Rebuilt the 6100, rebuilt the yoke, did a CP and a marquee. Game is almost perfect now.

I'd pay it again, but I love the game. That's what its all about, anyway. If you love the game, you'll pay more.

I could go $1000 but ONLY if it had a chair and a phone in it...

REALLY?!?!?! It took 4 pages for me to be "That Guy"
You guys are slacking :)

Thank you for being "That Guy"!

I thought about posting something like that. I honestly did.

And technically, this is still on the first page for me... I have mine set for 40 posts per page. ;)
