Honestly. How much would YOU pay for a Star Wars Upright

working, 8/10 condition with an original unmolested Ampliphone. Just give me the top price you'd pay.

$750, if I was in the market, and it's the Amp that pushes it up that high.

$750 is actually the most I would pay for ANY game if I was keeping it.

That's exactly my top price. I always see them for sale, firm at 9 bills +. Am I being cheap to stay at the $750 mark? I mean yeah, they may have an Amp, but it hasn't been rebuilt, the mods haven't been done, the marquee overlay is most certainly going to need to be replaced, the inside of the machine (including board, power supply and monitor) is probably caked in dust, crud etc.

700 to 800 depending on the condition and amplifone or not. If only I had 800 free right now.. I'd snap up the one quarterarcade is selling in central PA.

Its the holidays.. xmas coming. gotta conserve funds.

Does the arcade market pricing naturally dip at xmas or go up?
Are machines harder to sell?

$100 I don't care for the game but at that price I'd buy it to flip it.

Kinda +1, but I know they hold a lot of value for a lot of people. But because the game does not interest me much, I probably wouldn't go over $300, which they won't go under for a while. I think eventually we will start seeing SW's for like $100 ~ $150, but it will be a while...

didn't you already own a sw upright??

Yes. It was very nice, had a rebuilt 6100 though. One year ago, I sold it for 8 bills to a forum member from Missouri who was REALLY looking for one. I wanted to make his dreams come true. He still has it and it still works flawlessly from what I've heard. I'm just really debating getting one with an Amp to see what all the hype is. I've got some discretionary cash sitting here, waiting for the auction this Saturday, but if I don't find anything I like, I may be up for grabbing another Star Wars. Crazy hobby.

A good friend of mine had a Star Wars with an Amplifone in it for sale recently. It had a SW/ESB kit in it, but the front was damaged and would have cost at least $100 to fix, so I figure those two things balanced out. I felt the game was worth $700 tops, and that's what I offered. He found someone through CL that was willing to pay $1000....

I just want to say, that I hate everyone on here that has access to "auctions" like this...

Although... It probably keeps me from hoarding more stuff, so maybe it's a good thing.

8/10 condition I'd pay no more than $800 for one (if I felt like spending more than my $250 limit for a game).

If it had the Empire kit installed as well, put that number around $1200.

If I had the money, I'd go $800 if it works.

Hell, if I had the extra cash, I wouldn't have passed up the non-working one (unknown monitor type) for $200 a week ago...

I paid $875 for mine with a board issue and a dead Amp and I'm not even a big Star Wars fan - I just like the game. I know I overpaid (by most of your standards), but I wanted it and didn't want to wait around for a cheaper one. Seller was willing to go lower with his spare working 6100 in it.

I fixed the board issue with parts I had on hand, and I'm currently using my spare 6100 until I get the Amp working. And truthfully, I kind of wanted to do an Amp restoration (I know, I'm insane).

Honestly, I'd be comfortable at $800 with a working 6100 and $1000 with a working Amp. I might be a little off base, but that game has a very high desirability.
