I'm working on a very simple home made pinball. I have 48V DC power going to a solenoid but I don't want to burn out the solenoid when the flipper is held. I have an end of stroke switch but I need to know the SIMPLEST way to step the power down when it hits the switch? It would be nice if the solenoid I have was already wired to step down it's own power. I don't really know how to tell. I'll include a picture. Any advice on how to wire it would be helpful thanks.
